Using the free kit

The kit stores your worksheet entries in your browser's local storage. It does not upload those entries. You can clear them with the kit's clear button or your browser settings. Avoid entering policy numbers or other sensitive information on a shared device.

Newsletter signup

If you request the kit and newsletter, we process your email address, the signup form used, the signup time, consent version and delivery/subscription status. Cloudflare hosts this site and stores subscription records. Acumbamail manages newsletter subscriptions and confirmation messages. Resend may deliver the kit email if the primary delivery service is unavailable.

The separate confirmation email is used to confirm newsletter signup. You can access the free kit without joining the newsletter.

Unsubscribing

Use the unsubscribe link in a recent email to stop newsletter messages. A minimal suppression record is retained to avoid adding you back accidentally. For access, correction, deletion or help with an older link, contact jack@homecostinsider.com.

Site requests and measurement

Our hosting and email providers process the technical information needed to deliver their services. This site does not include advertising pixels or a separate web analytics script. Newsletter links and engagement may be measured by the sending provider when configured. Worksheet entries are not included.

We use your signup information to provide the requested kit and newsletter, maintain delivery and honor opt-out requests. We do not sell your email address.
